Lo studio H. ha sede a Londra (ovviamente) dal 1994 e si occupa di architecture, sculpture, urban infrastructure, product design, exhibition design e strategic thinking.

"The practice operates from a studio and workshop in Kings Cross, London, where a team of thirty-five is led by managing director Nader Mokhtari. This is an environment in which project management and implementation takes place in parallel with model-making, prototyping and experimention with ideas, materials and manufacturing processes.
Born in London, Thomas Heatherwick trained as a designer at Manchester Metropolitan University and at the Royal College of Art, London. He is a Royal Designer for Industry, a Senior Fellow of the Royal College of Art and was awarded an honorary doctorate by Sheffield Hallam University.

Heatherwick Studio has the creative involvement of three associate directors: Fred Manson, architect and formerly Director of Environment for London Borough of Southwark; Ron Packman, structural engineer and mentor to the studio since its inception; and Maisie Rowe, landscape architect and associate of the studio since 1998. "
